This Privacy Policy explains how MAAK Management ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our takeoff marketplace at maakmanagement.com.
When you claim a free takeoff, purchase a listing, or request a private-job takeoff, we collect: your name, job title, company name, email address, and phone number; payment card details (handled directly by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers); and any drawings or project files you upload for a private-job request.
We use this information to deliver purchased or free takeoffs, communicate about your order or request, prevent fraudulent free-takeoff claims (via card fingerprinting), and — if you opt in — send occasional updates about new listings.
We share information with the following service providers as needed to operate the Service: Stripe (payment processing and card verification), Vercel (file storage and hosting), and Verdic Systems (the plan-room platform some takeoffs deliver through — creating a Verdic Estimating account is governed by their own Privacy Policy). We do not sell your personal information.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database and file storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and order information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill purchases, respond to inquiries, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Uploaded private-job drawing files are retained only as long as needed to prepare and deliver your quote.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any obligations that require us to retain certain records (such as payment and tax records).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will update the "Last Updated" date above.
