Division 03 - Concrete
This section details all new cast-in-place concrete work and related materials.
Cast-in-Place Foundations & Slabs:
Exterior Equipment Pads: Furnish and pour new 12" thick turn-down concrete equipment pads, complete with #5 rebar reinforcement in top and bottom layers, placed each way at 12" on center.
Turn-Down Slabs: Furnish and pour new 8" thick turn-down concrete slabs on grade, complete with #4 rebar reinforcement in top and bottom layers, placed each way at 12" on center.
Formwork: Provide all necessary formwork, including chamfered edges, for new cast-in-place concrete elements.Concrete Infill & Grouting:
Precast Plank Infill: Furnish and pour 4,000 PSI concrete to infill all new openings in the existing 8" precast concrete plank deck.
Reinforcement: Provide and place WWM 6x6 W1.4xW1.4 in all concrete infill areas.
CMU Grouting: Grout all CMU cores solid with 3,000 PSI grout at new lintel bearing locations and wherever post-installed anchors are specified.Reinforcement & Anchoring:
Rebar: Furnish, bend, and place all specified rebar, including proper lap splices and development lengths as per the structural notes on drawing S-001.
Post-Installed Anchors: Drill and install all specified post-installed anchors using Hilti HY-270 and HY-200-A epoxy adhesives to secure new steel angles and posts to existing concrete and CMU walls.
Hardware: Provide all associated hardware, including through-bolts, washers, and nuts for the steel connections
